I am Jai Bharathi, the Founder & CEO of MOWO Social Initiatives Foundation. As an avid women motorcyclist & traveller, I was conferred by the Department of Women & Child Welfare, Govt of Telangana with “ Vishishta Mahila Puraskaram” in 2019 under Adventure category. Am the only woman from both the Telugu states AP & Telangana to have clocked more than 1,00,000 kms on a motorcycle and one amongst the handful of women bikers from India having done cross country motorcycle expeditions. My passion for two wheels and inclination towards society has triggered the thought of empowering women using mobility as a tool under 'MOWO Social Initiatives Foundation'. The roads have taught great life lessons and helped me realise my strengths & unleash my potential to the best of my abilities. I would be more than happy to share my stories from travel & motorcycling as motivational sessions at any organisation or forums. The honorary amount thus earned will be put back into the foundation and help us in training more girls.
